Portraits in the popular districts of old Havana
Founded in the 15th century on the northwest coast of Cuba, Old Havana has kept its remarkable character. Urban squares make up the historic center of the city, surrounded by many decrepit buildings and narrow streets where more popular or traditional styles come together. It was while walking these streets with my MPP camera that, sponsored by Polaroid, I made hundreds of portraits of people in 1995 and 1997.
